Lazy Days

This week it seems like every one is out of town. My daddy is in New York on a missions trip. My Gigi, and Aunt Rachel are in Guatemala, and Big Daddy is in Orlando. That has my Uncle Daniel free to hang out with me this week. This is us watching am cartoons on the couch. We have been pretty lazy with everyone gone, just hanging around and going to the pool and such. Mommy says she just wants to relax since in a couple of weeks she doesn't foresee much "relaxing" for a while. I can't imagine why?
Also, for those of you who prayed for our friend Mrs Anita, thank you. Her surgery went well. We are praying for a quick recovery, and that test will show that the cancer was totally removed from her body.

A call to pray

Hey everyone. This our sweet friend Anita Jackson fixing Aunt Beth's veil for the wedding. She has breast cancer and is having surgery tomorrow the 20th, and I would so love to have as many people praying as possible. She has been a family friend for a long time, and has been there to help my mother and all her sisters get ready for each of the weddings. Thanks so much!

Beth and Matt Peele's Wedding

Friday night I went to Aunt Beth and Uncle Matt's wedding. Here is a picture of me and all my cousins with Aunt Beth and Uncle Matt. What a pretty bride, and hansom groom. As you can tell I was not the happiest I've ever been. Mommy had a very hard time getting any sort of decent picture of me with Aunt Beth.
You would think from this picture I was an Angel all night....

Aunt beth had very pretty flowers!
The reception was lots of fun with food and dancing. Savannah was a wild woman out on the dance floor with Uncle Daniel. I spent most of my time in my mommy's lap eating since I had not seen her much over the last couple of days. The food gets a thumbs up!

Emily had a great time dancing, and even got a dance with Aunt Beth.
Mommy and Uncle Frankie got a little tired of holding and running after Savannah and I , so they put us in the stroller for a while. We were being so charming, I can't imagine why they needed a break.
Big Daddy seemed hungry, so I gave him a bite of my roll.

Aunt Rachel is a comfort even after the hardest of days.

This was the best picture I got all night with Aunt Beth (note I am still holding the same roll I had all night long). This was right before she left while Mommy and I were helping her change into her going away outfit. Right after this picture my Mimi and Pop took me home to go to bed. I was pretty tired after such a long day. I have a feeling Mommy won't be bringing me to any more weddings any time soon...

Workin hard

This is my new desk. I love to sit here and color while mommy does email. Mommy is going to do some work on it, and Daddy is going to cut the legs shorter so I can use it better by myself. I just need to find a youth chair to go with it. If anyone knows where I can get one let me know.

Happy 4th of July

I hope every one had a great 4th of July. We went to a cookout with our community group from church.
We had lots of fun making a pyramid. I even got to be the point!

All the children decorated their bikes with red white and blue and rode around.

Every one was so nice to me even though I am the youngest in the group. Here I am playing duck duck goose for the first time.

Goodbye June, Hello July!

I can hardly believe June is over and July has begun. We have just been doing a little of this and that. My aunt Beth's wedding is less than 2 weeks away, and baby Gracie is less than 6 weeks away form arrival. I have a feeling July will be a busy month. This is what has been up this week:

My Gigi came to watch me Friday night while mommy and Daddy were out, and she took some pictures of me because I was being so silly... What is so silly about sitting in my toy basket, and dressing up in Aunt Rachel's stuff? Also Friday was the fist day I picked out what I wanted to wear. Mommy was pretty surprised when I very clearly showed her that I had an opinion on what I should wear for the day. She is a little nervous about this new development, but I assured her I have great taste, and will do my best to dress appropriately for different occasions if she will give me the choice. We'll see what happens...

Daddy brought me some balloons home from a party at work this past week, and I had sooo much fun with them. This was the best picture mommy could get because all the rest had the balloons covering my face.

Mommy's Sweet friend Found a wooden highchair for baby Gracie, and Mommy painted it with Peter Rabbit. I love to get on my tip toes and point to the trey and say "rabbit". I think I may get some use out of it before Gracie since Mommy says she won't need it for a while and I really like it.
