Gracie turns 3!

We had been out of town for Andrew and Bethany's wedding, so on the way home we stopped by the Varsity for a birthday lunch.
Alli was hapy to celebrate at the Varsity!
We came home and opened presents.
These are some of your gifts. You LOVE the rain boots. You took them off only for nap time and bath time.
You wanted a Snow White cake. You were pretty tired after our long weekend, but still excited about being 3. You are such a joy to our family. You make us laugh all the time. You are very snuggly and we love it. In the mornings you come crawl in bed with Daddy, and get right up next to him to share his pillow. I have been weepy all weekend because I cannot believe how fast it is all going by. I just love being your Mommy. Happy Birthday!

Artwork

Gracie this is yours. you deliver all pictures to me rolled up. I am pretty sure you like rolling them better than drawing them;)
Alli here is a collection of yours. You are VERY good at writing your name as well as other random letters.
Alli this is a sweet picture you drew of you and Gracie. It is one of my favorites.

Play time

Gracie, this is how you play with your little people. You either do this or put every single one of them inside the fence. It is very cute to see how orderly you are in playtime.

Alli can tie a bow!

Alli, few weeks ago you started tying bows in Kit's hair all by yourself. Then this morning you put on your socks and shoes and tied them all by your self! You are VERY proud of yourself and so are we.

Daddy's Birthday

Today is Daddy's 30th Birthday. You girls wrapped your gifts all by yourselves and had a great time. All I did was hand you tape. We started the day with Krispy Kream, and have celebrated all day long. Gracie you keep saying "now is it my birthday?" because you know yours is the next one after Daddy. Tonight I asked you what you wanted for your special birthday breakfast. You thought for a minute and then said "Raisin Bran!!"

Laser show 2010

Saturday July 25th we took you girls to the Stone Mountain Laser show. Daddy and I have been before, but this was you girls first time. We picked up KFC and had a pic nick on the lawn and waited for it to get dark.
Sweet sisters!
Here y'all are sitting in your little princess chairs waiting for the laser show to start. There was plenty to watch before the "show".
Alli, this is a picture taken by you. You LOVE to take pictures right now.
You girls liked the show, but some of the fireworks started you both. It was a late night for all of us. Gracie, I'm not going to lie, you were a bit crabby, but we love you anyway. Daddy and I were saying that you girls are so much fun. We love getting to go and do more fun things as a family as y'all get big enough to enjoy them.

A new blog

So up until now this blog has been from Alli's perspective on things our family is doing. Because she and Gracie both are getting too verbal for me to pretend to be able to blog for them I am taking over. From now on this is a blog to Alli and Gracie from me. I will change the name from Allison Wonderland to Alli & Gracie

My hope is that you both can look back through this blog and see how wonderful and fun this time is for me. Girls I have very little recorded in your baby books so this is going to be a much better source for finding out about your childhood.

There has been a time gap because our camera was broken, but now we have a new one, so I will try to keep it updated better.

I love you both!

Easter 2010

It has been a while since my last post. Mommy's camera is on the fritz so we are not posing for as many pictures these days. These are compliments of Uncle Brett.
Sister love.
Our Easter dresses are the hard work of Mommy and Gigi. Gigi was very sweet to give of her time to teach mommy. We LOVED wearing them
I found them very good for twirling.
