Sisters

This is me, Alli, at a few weeks old, and below is Gracie. I think we look a lot alike. Most people say we look like our Daddy. What do y'all think?

Little Helper

I am becoming a pretty good helper now that Gracie is here. One of my favorite things is for mommy to let me get in Gracie's bed and play with her. I like to read her my favorite books.

I am also mastering the art of a gentile pat to calm her down when she crys.

The past couple of days...

Savannah and Rebecca came over yesterday to see baby Gracie. I was sooo happy to see them. Savannah was very sweet, and a good baby holder.

This morning Gracie got in the crib with me, and I thought that was lots of fun.

In this picture Gracie looks like she is crying, but she is just yawning. I think she likes hanging out with me.

Also, Gracie had her 2 week check up yesterday, and she is doing great. She is now 8lbs, 1oz.

Fun in the sun

Today we have spent the day outside since it was not as hot as it has been. Even Gracie got to come out for a while and sit in the shade. I kept her cool by pouring water over her feet when mommy was looking the other way. I also offered to share some of my ice, but mommy said she is still too little for that. This is our fist day with just the three of us, mommy, Gracie, and me, and I think it is going pretty well so far.

Home

We are all home and back as a Family again. I think we are all happy to be back with our new sweet addition. Our First night went pretty well. Mommy said Gracie slept well, so the rest of us did too. I have started my new roll as big sister and love it. I like to read to Gracie while she is swinging.

Gracie is lots of fun to hold, and I have to say I am pretty good at it.

I am excited to have a friend and sister in Gracie. I think there are lots of fun days to come. We are very grateful for all the prayers of our friends and family during this transition. Thanks to you all!!

The happy parents. Gracie wasn't quite so happy though. They are all doing well and can't wait to come home to see everyone. Please note the Georgia "G" in the background. Chris said that both his children look like bulldogs when they were born...what a sweet dad.

Grace Audrey Taylor - August 8, 2007!!

Baby Gracie was born at 11:20 am on August 8, 2007. She weighed in a whole lot less than Alli did...thank heavens! She is 7lbs. 4 oz. and is 20 inches long. We are so thankful that she is here safely!

Pre Baby Gracie...

Hello All, this is Aunt Beth. Just wanted to let everyone know that Dani is going in for a C-section around 9:45. I will post as soon as Gracie is born. I am going to visit her tonight after work, so I will take lots of pictures to post:) Until then...

I'm ready!

Well, I guess this is my last post before my life changes in a drastic way. Wed am Mommy and Daddy are going to the hospital to have baby Gracie. I will be staying with my Mimi and Pop till every one gets home. I know life will never be the same, but I feel that I am up for the challenge. I have matured a lot in that last few months, and the roll of big sister sounds pretty good. As you can see I am not a baby any more, so I don't mind if someone else steps into that roll in the family.Check back wed night to see pics of Gracie:)
